Puglia has about 800 km of coastline that varies from rocky beaches to the finest sand. Our Masseria is situated in a strategic position to easily reach some of the most beautiful beaches, let’s see them together.
Just 30 km from our Masseria there’s the most famous natural reserve in Puglia, Torre Guaceto. A stretch of coast along eight kilometers showing a landscape with strong Mediterranean characters that slips over the dunes to the sea, through the Mediterranean and marshes, up to an olive grove. Everything here is shaped by the sea and wind, and all the people – by local institutions – do everything possible to preserve this wonder as nature created it.
A long stretch of rocks shaped over the centuries by the sea to create five coves of white sand and transparent waters, crowned by a rich Mediterranean vegetation. Tower Pozzelle is one of the lesser-known beaches, but it is easy to fall in love at first bath. Located 17 km away from our farm, like many beaches of Puglia is named after the sixteenth-century watchtower built to defend the territory.
Another tower this time, however, is commonly used to mean a succession of sandy beaches kissed by transparent water and located about 15 km far from the Masseria. Here it is where it grows the tomato ‘queen’ and where all the local goes since the earliest spring days. Along the coastal road you will find many beaches to choose from, we recommend that you stop at the Lido Bizzarro and Taverna da Santos. We are sure that it is worth it!
A stretch of coast in the south of the city of Monopoli which is about 30 km from our Masseria going towards Bari. Here you will find so many harbors and coves to be spoiled for choice, so for your convenience we remind you one of the most famous beaches: Porto Ghiacciolo, at the foot of the medieval abbey of Santo Stefano, with its cold water currents that make the sea always clean.
